NSW: Rescuers meet to review snowboarders search

Rescue authorities are considering whether to wind down their search for four Sydney
snowboarders missing in the Snowy Mountains.

Police search coordinator, Inspector MARTIN WOOKEY, says abandoning the search is not an
option but rescuers believe it'd be a miracle if the four are still alive.

Four Victorian volunteers called into help with the search have already been sent home.

An intensive land and air search over 300 square kilometres of the Australian alps has
found no trace of the four, who set out on a three-day trip on August 7.

Missing are 26-year-old SCOTT BEARDSMORE, his brother PAUL, age 24, and school mates DEAN
PINCINI and TIM FRIEND, both 25. They're all from the Sydney suburb of Frenchs Forest.
